Lao
Tzu said that life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. These
changes can occur at any time without warning. So much of life is happenstance.
We should not try to resist these changes for that only creates sorrow. We
should let reality be reality and let things flow naturally forward in whatever
way they like. Thrashing about against what cannot be controlled only creates
exhaustion. Be like the leaf floating upon the river gently. There will still
be ample opportunity to go where you wish.
