We
are at the mercy of the fates. They spin and turn and we do not know what shall
happen. We are at their mercy. All we can do is live each day within the realm
of the Dao. What will be will be. What is not meant to happen will not happen.
There is no point worrying. Our existence here is transient. One day we walk
the earth, the next moment we do not. Would you like to know when your moment
will be at hand? Would you live any differently?
