A traveling
zen teacher who considered himself to be quite the scholar met Master Li and
proudly said, “I have discovered one hundred and twelve methods of meditation that
constitute the whole science of transforming mind.” Master Li nodded his head
and said “Is that so? I have discovered one hundred and thirteen methods.”
