The ancients have said that the
stars are the eyes of heaven. The stars secretly observe all. What if this was
true? We may save our best behavior for when others are watching but what about
when no one is watching? It is important to be true to ourselves. If we are
living a dual existence, we are perhaps fooling others, but we are definitely
fooling ourselves. The Dao has no such duality. It is what it is.
