A good traveler it has been said has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving. Indeed, the best times I had on vacations were usually not at the intended destination, but on on a side road in some unexpected place far off the beaten path, put there by fate perhaps. Leave point A but do not worry about getting to point B. There is always the unexpected and that is where you can often find the most pleasant of journeys.
