The only court of laws that the Dao recognizes are the laws of nature. The Dao does nothing that is unnatural unlike some people who live for the artificial, the hanky-panky of modern society. The Dao judges no one yet hands down punishment for those who seek to evade its rule. It cannot be bought, bribed, or made the victim of extortion. It is a true ‘untouchable’. It pays no heed to the ‘court of public opinion’.
