Some people look at the world and see a world of great kindness. Others see the world as a place of great cruelty. The world is neither, it is merely the world. What we see with our eyes is our perception of things. Our perceptions are likely to be as wrong as they are right. The Tao sees no beauty or ugliness, no right or wrong, no perceptions of any kind. To see with the eyes of the Tao is to see the purity of all things. We all see with different eyes, hear with different ears, yet we can all be one with all.
