We must always be alert for what lie around the corner for us. The nature of burning sun and driving rain, the constant change and vulnerability of the human being, sickness, aging, death. We must be ready to face the predatory instincts of others. The deceitfulness and hate that lies buried in the hearts of some. We must be prepared to survive through all of this. We can do so by strengthening our inner energies. Always be aware of your surroundings, trust everyone but make sure to cut the cards, know that a frowning heart may be behind a charming smile.
