Always be a student. Do not seek the feeling of the accomplishment of mastering something. One who is a student is always willing to learn. This way, they admit they have more to know. One who prides himself on being a master, may have deemed themselves as knowing it all and thus shut down the avenue where new teachings travel. This is where beginners can have an advantage. The mind of a beginner contains many possibilities, a self-professed experts’ mind has few.
