By not demonstrating our wealth, we prevent contention. By not creating the valuable, we prevent the coveting of such. The tree showing beautiful fruit is always under attack. By not praising the beautiful, we prevent desire. If people lack the knowledge and the desire, they are less prone to act out with harmful action and intent. If no action such as this takes place, harmony results.
