As a wave upon an ocean, we flow, change. Our shape now is far different from what it was years ago. We live a thousand lives in one lifetime. We are never the same from moment to moment. Some changes are subtle, others substantial. Life goes on, crashing through any semblance of form or stagnation. We must learn to be the flower on the beach that bends and accepts the breeze for what it is. To fight change is to fight uselessly.
