When meditating, be as solid as a mountain and flow like a mighty ocean. In order to let go, you must first hold on. To be able to get somewhere, you must first be somewhere else. Center your mind on where you are now, and where you wish to be. Now, do not do anything, just sit and your mind will wind up in your intended destination. In meditation, we make an effort to sit and then while sitting, we make no effort. Making an effort only hinders any progress. Be as free as the leaf blowing in the wind.
