Too Much, Too Many
Tao Te Ching Verse 12 tells us this. Too many colors blind the eyes. Too much music deafens the ears. Too much taste dulls the palate. Too much play maddens the mind. Too much desire tears the heart. Less is more. Too many distractions and indulgences cause the mind to dull and become lazy. Stop hunting and gathering. Get what you need and be content. Collect seashells but you do not need every one that lay on the beach. Know when to say when. Sensory overload causes breakdowns and fatigue. Know when it is time to go home.
