Our aim should be to be transparent like a see through man. We should seek to be the naked tree without leaves, unafraid to show ourselves to anyone. So many people operate on deception, wearing a mask, pretending to be somebody or something they are not. Being transparent means being unafraid to show our allegiance to the ways and wisdom of the Tao. We must be like the Tao and deceive no one. Aim for truth with yourself and others. Put the mask away.
