We have choices when things come up unexpectedly or do not go our way. We can become angry and that is a waste of time and energy. We can also learn to laugh at life’s little problems. Most of our problems are little you know. Oh, we may make them into big issues, life altering cataclysms, gigantic seismic shifts, but most of the time they are merely inconveniences that with a little patience, we can overcome quite easily. We are sitting with three aces when at once the joker pops up and ruins our dreams of capturing the pot. The world is full of jokers. Hands will be won and hands will be lost. That is the way of the Tao.
