Waves
Waves are the ultimate transient expressions of the Tao. Each wave that comes to shore is different than the one before. They may look much the same to the unaware, but they are vastly different. Each wave is not just one splash of water washing up, but is made up of millions of tiny droplets of water. A wave washes up on the beach or against the rocks and then returns from whence it came. It expects nothing, it judges nothing, it forces nothing. All is natural. Even as it comes up, it is constantly changing form. Life constantly changes form. If we look at life like it is wave, we anticipate change. We anticipate things coming and going. We live far more naturally.
